One of my favourite places in Mumbai

Dear Readers,
In Mumbai, sometimes the din and noise takes over. One of my favourite places for peace and quiet is the Haji Ali shrine, off Worli. But here again, to snatch moments of peace it is essential to visit early morning, else crowds throng this place.
Have a nice weekend.
This photograph was taken on July 18, 2010.
Best regards,
Lubna

Hi Lubna, thanks for visiting my blog. Yes, capturing those moments of peace are such a necessity in our busy life! I had a chance to take some time & hike a beautiful trail in the mountains this morning, such a lovely change of pace from where I had been living for the past month.

Very inspiring Lubna. I am sure the peace and calm you experience in the morning at the Haji Ali Dargah is with you for the rest of your busy day!

Thanks for sharing!

I used to like the worli seaface amongst all the similar haunts. It was kind of private and public at the same time. Less crowd and quality time.

It looks very peaceful, Lubna. I can see why you like it here. I'm looking foward to October and seeing a few sights in India myself!
